Before you ask
How long does it take to heat the food?
Between 25 and 35 minutes depending on how much food you bring and how cold it is. Most people plug it in when they leave for work or half an hour before eating. It heats with steam, it does not boil.
Can I use it while driving?
Yes. It connects to the vehicle socket. Place it on a stable surface and do not handle it while moving. It draws 70 W, the same as charging a laptop.
Will it drain my car battery?
With the engine running there is no risk: the alternator covers 70 W easily. With the engine off, do not leave it connected for more than an hour.
Do I choose 12V or 24V?
Cars, vans and most SUVs are 12V. Trucks, buses and some motorhomes are 24V. If in doubt, check your vehicle manual or the battery label. Every version also includes the mains cable.
Is it dishwasher safe?
The stainless steel inner trays are, and they lift out. The outer casing holds the electronics: wipe it with a damp cloth and never submerge it.
Does it smell or taste of plastic?
Food only touches stainless steel, never plastic. Wash the trays with hot soapy water before first use.
How long does delivery take?
Between 3 and 6 working days. You get the tracking number by email as soon as it leaves the warehouse.
